National Clinical Outreach Coordinator
Following graduation from the University of Florida, Jerry began his work in the field of substance use and abuse managing a research project in the Department of Psychiatry at U of F that examined changes in activity levels and alcohol consumption as a function of retirement and aging. He has held a variety of positions in mental health and chemical dependency treatment facilities since 1987, including assessment counselor, patient coordinator, utilization review case manager, discharge coordinator, administrator, and director of business development. Jerry’s mission is to educate those seeking treatment and professionals on the services offered through Lifeskills of South Florida, and to offer support and resources to those struggling with addictive disease and other psychiatric issues and their families, no matter where their needs can best be met.
